Police investigating 'nail varnish and sticker damage' to cars in Shrewsbury

Police are appealing for help after cars were damaged with stickers and nail varnish.

West Mercia Police said the incidents had taken place at night in Shrewsbury.

Officers have appealed for anyone with CCTV or any victims to contact them.

Police Community Support Officer Sarah Williams said: "Police have been made aware of a number of incidents involving damage to vehicles in the Shrewsbury town area.

"The damage consists of stickers or a nail varnish-like substance being placed onto vehicles particularly during hours of darkness.

"We are appealing for anyone who has been a victim or has any CCTV to assist officers in their enquiries.

"If your vehicle has been damaged through stickers or nail varnish then please contact PC 22035 Phillips on katie.phillips@westmercia.police.uk or ring 07977 957 788."
