A Powys woman will stand trial in March after denying a charge of assault.

Jade Cambridge pleaded not guilty to assaulting Jake Gibbs in Presteigne on June 11 2024.
The 39 year-old of Milbank, Norton could not attend Llandrindod Wells Magistrates Court on Tuesday because of public transport issues but she gave her pleas to her solicitor.
Cambridge did admit separate charges of causing criminal damage to Barcud Housing Association property worth £1,853 on June 11 2024 and resisting Police Constable Scott on High Street, Presteigne on August 9 2024.
Magistrates adjourned the case for trial, and told Cambridge this will take place at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates’ Court on March 19, when her co-accused, David Evans, is also expected to stand trial
Evans also denied assaulting Jake Gibbs on June 11 but admitted causing criminal damage to Barcud Housing Association property worth £1,853 on June 11 and stealing a bicycle, also in Presteigne, on the same day.
Cambridge remains on unconditional bail until March 19
