Charming three-storey Ludlow town centre property dating back to 1700s to go under the hammer

A Grade II listed property in Ludlow town centre will be going up for auction next month.

The Grade II listed 1 Bull Ring in Ludlow, which dates from the early 18th century, has been listed for auction.

The three-storey property, which also has an attic and cellar, extends to around 1,500 square feet. 

According to agent Carter Jonas, the property benefits from "a number of charming features" including exposed ceiling beams, trusses and a traditional timber staircase.

The property has recently undergone a series of renovation works to convert the upper floors into residential accommodation. 

The ground floor, which features traditional wooden flooring and exposed beams, is currently the home of CW Sellors Fine Jewellers.

A spokesperson for Carter Jonas called the property a "historic building set within the heart of Ludlow". 

They added: "The property comprises traditional brick construction with sash windows and a glazed shop frontage. Internally, the property benefits from a number of charming features including exposed ceiling beams, trusses and a traditional timber staircase."

The property is set to go under the hammer on March 27 with a guide price of £170,000.
