The Premiership giants are currently playing their home matches at the national stadium, Wembley, while its historic home is rebuilt.

And as part of that historic project, Telford-based TDS Midlands has been designing key parts of the stadium alongside its sister company, D4S.

The work has seen TDS, which is headquartered on Hadley Park, designing more than 30 feature and design staircases for the new stadium, as well as core support for the stadium's facade and other secondary structural steelwork.

Its teams have been providing engineering design calculations, 3D models for review and integration, and full manufacturing packages for the fabrication and installation of the works.

"This expansive project has been a great opportunity for us to work on a high profile development for two of the UK’s biggest architectural metalwork companies," said managing director Dan Leech.

"It’s also showcased the scope of work we can deliver when we join forces with D4S to demonstrate some real teamwork."

Design director Jon Lock added: "We started off being asked to design two of the core staircases, and we delivered it with D Wilson Architectural in West Bromwich.

"From there we have ended up designing several more – moving forward the plan is to do all of them, which is about 30 to 35.

"It's great to work on such a prestigious job, and to work with like-minded clients."
