Simon Anderson, the managing director, says all the jobs at LVS Small Plastic Parts Ltd, of Stafford Park 15, have been secured under the wing of a newly formed company in the same premises.

LVS Small Plastic Parts, which was visited by the then Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne in 2015, is now in the hands of administrators Mazars.

Mr Anderson told the Shropshire Star: "I can confirm that I have been successful in acquiring some of the business and assets from Mazar’s through a difficult process and have secured all the jobs of the old company in the new company LVS Plastics Ltd."

Mr Anderson said he has lost a "considerable amount of money" in the move but he said it was imperative for him to keep continuity of employment at the family firm started by his father in 1973.

He said: "In doing this I have personally lost a considerable amount of money, however it was imperative for me to keep continuity of employment for the staff and continuity of supply for our clients.

"Some of the staff have been in the business for over 25 years and also we still supply our first client from 1973 when my father first set up the business in Aston, Birmingham before relocating the business to Stafford Park with support from TDC in 1975."

He adds that he hopes to build on the foundations of the old business to secure a long term future for staff.

Mr Anderson said: "We look to build on the foundations of the old business and look to further grow the offering of the business to secure a long terms future for all our staff."
