First glimpse of Shrewsbury bar and grill as owners thank customers for opening weekend support
The owners of a newly-opened bar and grill say they are thankful for the support over the opening weekend despite the rainy weather.
The Terrace Charcoal Grill & Lounge Bar was officially opened its doors in Shrewsbury on Saturday, two years after James and Wendy Yurky bought the building.
The husband-and-wife team, along with two other business partners, Jimmy and Tila, have spent that time renovating and transforming the building on Smithfield Road.
After opening on Saturday, Wendy said: "The weekend went well, we were very busy throughout.
"As expected there were little teething issues but overall the feedback has been good.
"Everyone has been so supportive and we were packed despite the rain.
"Now we are just looking forward to when the weather will be nice, as we expect it to be full on weekends when the weather is better."
