Newest Shrewsbury Gin has a distinct Shropshire honey flavour
A market-based business has been a hive of activity recently with its new honey-infused Shrewsbury Gin proving popular.
Darren Tomkins of Gindifferent in the town's Market Hall has teamed up with Henstone Distillery, near Oswestry, and Hedgerow Honey at Longdon-upon-Tern to launch the new gin.
The gin is distilled using Darren's recipe on the Henstone kit and London Dry production process, with seasonal honey from the hives at Hedgerow Honey.
This means each batch of the top tipple has a subtle and distinct flavour depending on what plants the busy bees have been taking nectar from.
And it seems Darren's customers can't get enough of it.
