Applications for Planet Doughnut's 'job of a lifetime' top 1,000 mark
A Shropshire business has been inundated with applications in its search for an official taster.
Planet Doughnut launched what it called ‘the best job in Britain’ back in July as it put out calls for a dessert fan with a sophisticated palette to help the firm develop new flavours.
The opportunity has proven so popular – with more than 1,000 people already applying – that Planet Doughnut boss Duncan McGregor chose to extend the closing date by a month to offer more doughnut fans the chance to throw their hat in the ring.
The chosen doughnut applicant will receive a box of Planet Doughnut’s newest flavours once a month for the next six months.
