New dog-friendly cafe named after family pooch set to open today
A new cafe is ready to welcome visitors and their four-legged friends.
Bobby's Bistro, located at Guildhall on Newport's high street, is set to start serving up tasty treats on Friday.
Located in the former home of Deli 45, staff at Bobby's are planning on serving up hot and cold, eat-in and take-away food and drink from 7.30am to 5pm, seven days a week.
Owner, Rhiannon Lewis, aged 45 and from Newport, has named her new venture after her beloved two-year-old Sproker, Bobby.
She explained: "There's a bit of a theme in Newport, we have Catherine's Bakery and Tabitha’s, I wanted to keep it in the theme of the town. My son is mortified I named it after the dog!
