Former Wilko shop in Wellington 'set to be taken over' after nine months standing empty
It looks like the former Wilko shop in Wellington will finally be taken over.
The Market Street branch has been closed since last September after the bargain retailer went into administration.
It had been a prominent fixture in Wellington for 30 years, with staff bidding an emotional farewell.
It was hoped that Poundland would be moving in, after it had taken over other Wilko shops across the country.
