Azets hosted the annual Beaujolais lunch for their professional contacts and referrers at Henry Tudor Inn. In keeping with tradition it took place on the third Thursday in November.
The 2024 event sold out in record time with 55 guests in attendance.
The day traditionally marks the start of the festive season of networking events and raises money for good causes.
This year the event was raising funds for Pebbles Project, a charity which enables children from farming communities in South Africa to access quality education programmes and health, nutrition and social work services.
The event, which as so far raised more than £1,000, also saw the raffling a fabulous Shropshire hamper, courtesy of Jess Woodall, from the Shropshire Hamper Company.
Francesca Hutcheson, Tax Partner from Azets’ Shrewsbury office said: “We are delighted to be the current custodians of this event, which dates back to the 1980s, and to see such a fantastic turnout at this year’s lunch. It is a wonderful reminder of why Shropshire is such a great place to live, work and do business.”
Photographer Steve Leath paid a visit to the event.
