Bridgnorth business organisation 'delighted' with response to new start-up awards

A Bridgnorth consultancy says it's 'delighted' with the response to a new award scheme for start-up busineses in Shropshire - after more than 60 companies were nominated.

The "Good2Great Start-Up Awards" will be presented as part of the Shropshire Business Festival on March 6 at Telford International Centre.

Eddie Allan of the Bridgnorth-based business consultants Good2Great who are behind the initiaive said that the list of finalists had now been drawn up, with excitement building in the weeks leading up to the presentation.

“We were delighted with the response to this new award, receiving over 60 nominations, and now hope to make this an annual event,” he said.

"The quality and level of detail, effort and time taken by the entrants to complete was very impressive.

“We have loved reading the business journeys and stories and the shortlisted finalists for each category are really looking forward to finding out the results.”

The firm says it has now helped around 2,000 new enterprises in the county and neighbouring areas over the last decade.
