Emma-Louise Lloyd, 26, was heading to Amsterdam from Manchester Airport with her partner when she captured the scene on her mobile phone.

A man who shouted "My name's Michael and I'm from Burnley!" was filmed as he shouted and hurled bottles of alcohol around.

The footage shows airport duty free staff move customers out of the store.

Police arrested a 32-year-old afterwards who was later released on bail.

The incident happened on Thursday and Emma-Louise told MailOnline: "He had created a scene and everyone around was watching. The airport staff were asking people to get back to try and calm the situation but the man was pacing around and grabbing every bottle in sight.

"Some were bouncing off the ground whilst others were smashing. There was a strong smell of alcohol as so many had smashed.

"Someone jumped on him from behind then many more helped pin him to the ground and several minutes later the police arrived."

A Manchester Airport spokeswoman said: "We are aware of an incident involving a passenger in Terminal 3. Greater Manchester Police were called to the scene and dealt with the matter."
