Five re-bailed over kennels animal cruelty probe

Five people have been re-bailed until June as part of an ongoing investigation into reports of animal cruelty at a kennel in Herefordshire.

The investigation began on May 28, 2016, when a 37-year-old man and 27-year-old woman, both from Hereford, were arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty.

Last year officers executed search warrants at properties in Herefordshire and Abergavenny.

A 45-year old man from Powys was arrested last August on suspicion of cruelty to animals and earlier in the summer a 37-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman from Abergavenny were also arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty.
