Tools stolen as house near Shrewsbury targeted by burglars

Burglars targeted a property in a village near Shrewsbury and made off with tools worth £120.

The burglary took place between 9pm on Tuesday and 3am on Wednesday at the Old Top House Cottages in Uffington.

The raid was discovered when the householder noticed that a security light had been pulled off the wall and the light was not working.

A set of garage doors had been attacked and both padlocks were on the floor.

The offenders had forced the clasp holding the padlocks in place and gained entry to the garage and taken a Stihl saw valued at £100 and an electric drill valued at £20.
