Stranger approaches children in Shrewsbury
A man stopped to speak to two children before reportedly attempting to take the hand of one of them.
The man, who is believed to be in his 80s, approached the children in Racecourse Avenue in Shrewsbury yesterday at lunchtime, it was said.
Police are appealing for the man, who was wearing a burgundy jumper, or anyone who was in the area, to get in contact by calling 101 and quoting incident number 291s of May 31.
