Man, 25, suffers 'significant injuries' in Telford assault

A 25-year-old man was taken to hospital with "significant injuries" after being attacked in Telford.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the man was assaulted at around 10.20pm on Friday, near Barn Close and Waxhill Close in Donnington.

Officers said the victim suffered significant injuries and received hospital treatment.

A spokesman said: "Enquiries are on-going to trace a named suspect.

"Police are in the area both to carry out enquiries into the incident and offer reassurance."
