Manhunt expands after Telford bank robbery

The manhunt for a pair of armed robbers has been expanded, with police now looking for four men.

Staff at Lloyds Bank in Donnington were threatened by thieves carrying a crowbar and hammer on Tuesday afternoon.

Police have today also confirmed that a grey Audi Q5 which was found on fire in nearby School Road is being linked to the robbery.

DI Lee Holehouse said: “Our enquiries are on-going and we are continuing to appeal for witnesses.

"The vehicle found in School Road in Donnington, a grey Audi Q5, is being linked to the robbery and we now believe four men were involved.

“We’d urge anyone who has information to get in contact with us.”
