Police helicopter circles and road closed off in Wellington incident
A police helicopter was circling and a street cordoned off as officers descended on Wellington.
Market Street was closed off and a heavy presence of officers was on the scene on Friday night.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said at the time: "We are currently dealing with an incident on Market Street in Wellington. This is an ongoing incident and officers remain at the scene.
"Cordons are in place around the town centre, affecting Market Street, which is closed, and people are asked to avoid the area."
The force has been contacted for more detail.
