Thief who stole hair straighteners from Boots in Telford handed suspended sentence
A thief who stole hair straighteners from a shop has been handed a suspended jail term.

Andrew Leaver, aged 43, stole the Remington straighteners worth £109.99 from Boots in Telford town centre on June 16 this year.
Leaver, of Clover Heath, Claverley, near Bridgnorth, pleaded guilty at Kidderminster Magistrates Court to one charge of theft.
He was given a four-week jail sentence, suspended for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay £109.99 in compensation.
