Telford motorist banned from road after failing to provide blood sample

A Telford motorist who failed to provide a blood sample for police has been banned from the road.

Lee Davenport, aged 40, would not provide a sample when requested by officers in Telford on April 2, last year.

Davenport, of Nuthatch Crescent, Wellington, was found guilty in his absence of failing to provide a specimen of blood at Kidderminster Magistrates Court. He had earlier pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to police bail in January of this year.

Davenport was disqualified from driving for 28 months and ordered to carry out 220 hours of unpaid work.
