Man charged with murdering woman whose body was found in layby appears in court
A man charged with murder after a woman's body was discovered in a lay-by in South Staffordshire will enter his plea next year.
Jomaa Jerrare, from Heath Town in Wolverhampton, was found on Bridgnorth Road in Perton just before 2.30am on August 9, 2021.
Clive O'Connor, from Bridge Street in Bilston, appeared at Stafford Crown Court on Thursday after being charged with murder.
The 57-year-old is due to enter a plea on the week commencing January 16 next year. The case will be heard at either Stafford Crown Court or Wolverhampton Crown Court.
