Vehicles seized in police operation of Telford roads

Police seized two vehicles for having no insurance during an operation in Telford.

Teams of officers from Donnington Police Station carried out a safer roads operation on Wednesday.

A police spokesman said two vehicles were seized for having no insurance.

One, a Smart car was pictured being taken away on the back of a recovery truck.

Officers also reported one person for having no MoT, and another for not wearing a seat belt.

There was also a lighting offence, two vehicles reported for having expired tax and one driver without a full licence.
