Shropshire man caught drink-driving in seaside town gets big fine and ban
A man who was more than twice the drink-drive limit in a seaside town has been banned and ordered to pay more than £1,100.
Daniel Humphries, from Whitchurch, was stopped in Blackpool on April 29 while at the wheel of a BMW.
The 38-year-old gave a breath test result of 72 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than double the legal limit of 35 microgrammes.
