Declan Moorhouse, aged 25, was asked politely twice to turn the music down, but on the third occasion lost his temper, shouting: "I'll stab you, I'll kill you all."

Telford Magistrates Court heard how Moorhouse's new neighbours, a man, his wife and her mother, moved in at The Knolls in Gains Park, Shrewsbury in May this year.

The neighbours felt the volume of Moorhouse's music was "excessive", so asked him to turn it down, which he did. But he played it noisily twice more, prompting further visits from his new neighbours.

The male neighbour banged on Moorhouse's door, but got no answer. He carried on, before Moorhouse started shouting: "I'm going to kill you!"
