Man who stole diesel, laundry tablets and coffee in Telford ordered to pay money back

A thief who stole diesel, washing tablets and coffee has been ordered to pay the money back.

David Cook, aged 33, made off without paying for £78 worth of diesel from a Telford petrol station, and stole laundry tablets and coffee from a Co-op store in the town. He took the petrol on October 30 last year and stole from the Co-op on April 30 this year.

Cook, of High Street, Ironbridge, Telford, pleaded guilty at Kidderminster Magistrates Court to making off without making payment and theft.

He was ordered to pay back the full amounts. No order for further costs was made.
