Drug driver is handed a 12-month ban

A drug driver has been handed a 12-month driving ban after admitting having more than four times the limit of a cocaine derivative in her blood.

Annie Miles, aged 23, of Ditton Priors, near Bridgnorth, pleaded guilty to having 207 micrograms per litre of benzoylecgonine (BZE), in her blood when she drove a red Skoda Fabia on Roman Road, Shrewsbury, on Monday, July 3, 2023.

Miles also admitted having 2.7 micrograms per litre of cannabis in her blood when the legal limit is 2.
