Man arrested in Shrewsbury town centre on suspicion of racially aggravated offence
Police have arrested a man in Shrewsbury on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence, assault, and shoplifting.

West Mercia Police's Neighbourhood Matters page revealed that the man had been arrested on Monday afternoon in the town centre.
The man was charged and bailed, pending a court appearance.
Bail conditions mean the man cannot enter Shrewsbury town centre.
