'I will be the reason you can't sleep at night' - Abusive ex-boyfriend made chilling threats to former partner
An abuser who lashed out at his former partner with frightening threats to "light [her] gaff up" after she ended their brief relationship has avoided jail.

Keian Higham, aged 20 and of Pave Lane in Newport, subjected his former partner to threats over text message and social media in March and April last year.
Higham and the victim were in a relationship but the latter ended it in early 2024, Telford Magistrates Court heard on Wednesday (February 12).
"He didn't take very well to that and continued messaging her," prosecutor Katie Price told the court.
The messages, on TikTok, Facebook Messenger and SMS, became threatening when Higham wanted to get belongings of his from his ex-partner's home, with a promise to "smash [her] doors in" if his "stuff" wasn't "there in the morning".
