Inspectors from the education watchdog visited St. Peter’s CE Primary School & Nursery in Edgmond in December and have concluded that the school has maintained its 'Outstanding' standards since a previous full inspection inspection in 2013.
The primary school's quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management and early years provision were all graded as 'Outstanding' by inspectors.
A recent report described children's behaviour as "excellent" and said the school is "determined to provide the pupils with the best education it possibly can".
Support for children with special educational needs and disabilities was deemed to be of a "high quality" while the attendance of pupils was also commended and the school is said to prepare pupils for life beyond school "extremely well".
Headteacher Claire Medhurst said: "We’re delighted with the outcome of our recent inspection which recognises and celebrates all the hard work put in by our amazing children and wonderful staff every day."
