Rural crime remains a major issue

A spokesperson for the Alliance said: "Our annual Rural Crime Survey is back, and it has never been more important for you to share your experience of rural crime with us.

"We're urging rural residents to participate in this survey to share their experiences of crime in rural areas, and to ensure that their voices are heard.

"With rural crime on the rise in recent years, our survey offers farmers, landowners, rural business owners, and residents the chance to voice their concerns and report how they feel about local policing, crime prevention, and safety.

"Take part in our annual Rural Crime Survey today and tell us about the change that you want to see."

The survey aims to gather crucial data to help shape future policy and raise awareness of the unique challenges rural communities face when it comes to crime and policing.

It is open to the public until Sunday,  January 5,  2025, and findings are set to be published in early next year.
