Officers from the Rural and Business as well as local SNT officers were at the Raby Estates in Telford and Wrekin on Wednesday to discuss rural crime issues.
The police were also on hand to encourage farmers to sign up to the Farm Watch group, that helps coordinate responses by the police to rural crimes.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We had the pleasure of attending a fantastic event with the local farming community, hosted by Raby Estates in Telford and Wrekin. It was a great opportunity to engage with farmers, tenants, and community members on important rural crime issues, crime prevention tactics, and local policing matters.
"We were delighted to have attendees sign up to our local Farm Watch group, coordinated by the Raby Estate. This initiative will help strengthen the communication between the farming community and our Telford Officers, creating a united front in tackling rural crime.
"A huge thank you to the Raby Estate for hosting and for their continued support in promoting crime prevention."
