"The town pool, Church Pulverbatch," is seen here in a postcard franked on July 2, 1905. The message from "E.B." on the back says: "I thought this a pretty card for your collection. You would remember seeing this pond at the top of village just by Mrs Woodcock's. The ducks on water belong to her." The postcard was addressed to T. Rees Evans Esq, of Llewellyn Road, Colwyn Bay.
