Rhys the horse rescued after getting its leg stuck in gate in Albrighton
A horse who had become trapped in a gate in Albrighton was rescued by firefighters.
The horse, 18-year-old Rhys, had managed to get its leg stuck in a gate in Donnington Lane, at around 9.40am on Tuesday morning.
Using specialist animal rescue equipment, the large animal rescue team from Wellington station, as well as a crew from Albrighton station and staff from Severn Edge Vets, were able to rescue and release the horse from the gate.
