Police have recovered an abandoned Mitsubishi L200 two days after it was stolen from a farm near Bridgnorth

Published

Between 10pm on Sunday and 8am on Monday, there was a burglary at a farm off of the B4364 in The Down.

A Mitsubishi L200, a Suzuki King Quad 500 and a selection of valuable power tools were stolen.

Two days later farmers in the Haughton area, near Bridgnorth, found the Mitsubishi on their land, apparently abandoned. There was no sign of the other stolen items.

Police said it was likely the car had been used to take the stolen items and then abandoned.

It will now be examined by police to check for any forensic evidence.

Anybody who saw a green and silver Misubish with a registration ending in OUM in the area sometime after Sunday evening is asked to call police.

Those with information should call police on 101 citing incident number 0187S 280119.
