Railway embankment catches light
Firefighters had to use beaters to extinguish a gorse fire at a railway embankment near Bridgnorth on Sunday.

The embankment in Eardington caught light just after noon, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said.
Around 100 metres of embankment was on fire, SFRS said.
A spokesperson said the blaze was extinguished within the hour by firefighters using knapsack sprayers and beaters.
