Filming crews were spotted on Bridgnorth's Whitburn Street, on the junction with High Street, filming for a new drama by English writer and Church of England priest, Reverend Richard Coles.
'Murder Before Evensong' for Channel 5 features Matthew Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom in the film adaptations of Harry Potter.
Pictures from the scene show a 1982 Volvo surrounded by studio lights and actors.
Resident Caroline King said: "I just walked into the filming of Richard Coles' Murder Before Evensong!"
