Much Wenlock mayor wants people to attend a coffee morning to learn how to use new defibrillator

Much Wenlock mayor Duncan White is encouraging people to attend a coffee morning where a new defibrillator installed at the town hall will be on display. The event, at Priory Hall aims to inform people about how to safeguard the vulnerable and how to use the new equipment. Demonstrations will be held as well as classes being held in CPR.

The event will double as a coffee morning with drinks and homemade cake available for all in attendance.

Councillor White said: "These short sessions are for anyone to attend. You can watch, listen - and only get involved if that’s your wish."

"Coffee, tea and homemade cake will be available from 10am and we will welcome donations to cover costs and to help fund Much Wenlock Community First Responders. Attendance is free and all are welcome."

The event takes place on Saturday October 8.
