Shropshire pub hit by kitchen fire
Firefighters were called to a blaze a Shropshire pub in the early hours of the morning.
Three fire appliances from Baschurch and Shrewsbury were sent to the New Inn on Church Road, Baschurch, at around 4.17am.
Crews used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and one covering jet to put out a fire in the kitchen.
Positive pressure ventilation was used to clear smoke from the property. The extent of the damage is not known.
