Kate tells of Wolfy the dog's rough time
Author and journalist Kate Spicer will have canine help when she comes to Oswestry on April 9 to promote her new book, a tragi-comic memoir called Lost Dog.

She will be at Booka Bookshop in Church Street at 7.30pm, along with Wolfy, the real-life rescue dog at the centre of her tale.
Kate adopted Wolfy, a lurcher outlaw found living rough on the streets of Manchester in 2014. But when he disappeared she hit the streets of London to find him, endlessly calling his name, and finding allies among psychics and mysterious midnight joggers.
Trying to find Wolfy tested her relationship, and her sanity, to its limits, and got her thinking about her life, and why things had turned out as they had for her.
Tickets for the Oswestry event are £5, which are redeemable against a signed copy of the book, and includes a glass of wine or soft drink on arrival.
Kate Spicer is a lifestyle journalist who has written for the Sunday Times, the Times, the Daily Mail, and the Evening Standard, and has appeared on television in everything from MasterChef to Newsnight.
