Teenage motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after Oswestry crash

A 17-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash between his bike and a 4x4 pick-up truck near Oswestry.

It happened at about 2.30pm on Wednesday on the B5479 in Selattyn and involved a VW Amarok.

The teenager was taken by air ambulance to hospital where he is currently being treated.

One fire crew was sent from Oswestry to make the area safe. They left shortly after 3.30pm.
