Faulty air compressor causes heavy smoke logging

An 999 call about a fire in Oswestry turned out to be smoke from a faulty air compressor.

Firefighters from Oswestry and Ellesmere responded to the emergency call at about 8.15am on Sunday.

When they arrived at the property in Salop Road, Oswestry they discovered that the faulty compressor had caused heavy smoke logging.

Crews used a thermal imaging camera ensure there were no hot spots and the incident was under control just after 9am.
