Firefighters and ambulance called to help woman stuck in bed railings in Oswestry

A woman who had become stuck in bed railings was released by the fire service.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said it had been called to a property on Weston Lane in Oswestry shortly before 6am today.

One crew from Oswestry Fire Station attended and helped release the woman from the bed railings.

The West Midlands Ambulance Service also attended, with a spokesman saying: "We were called to an incident at a private address on Weston Lane at 6.01am, one ambulance attended the scene. On arrival we discovered one patient, a woman, who was assessed and discharged at the scene."
