The vehicle crashed on the A483

The incident happened on the A483 Northbound Halton - Gledrid at about 10.30am on Tuesday and involved a road closure.

In an update at 1.28pm Traffic Wales said the road was fully open but drivers have been asked for patience while it clears.

A spokesman said: "Road now fully open. Please allow time for congestion to clear.

"Thank you for your patience."

Traffic Wales reported that there was congestion on the A5 northbound between the A495 and the junction with the A483 Oswestry North.

"Normal traffic conditions are expected between 1pm and 1.15pm on April 11," a spokesman said.

The road has since been closed while the vehicle, which was travelling north, is recovered.

The closure has caused long delays, with traffic northbound reported to be queuing back to Park Hall at Oswestry at one point as motorists were diverted via Chirk.
