Video footage of the aftermath of stabbings outside a nightclub in Shrewsbury has been shown on TV programme Ambulance.
The BBC1 documentary series aired the events which took place outside The Buttermarket in the early hours of New Year's Day, which left several people injured.
In the 999 call to the emergency services, the caller can be heard repeating "Oh my god" when the call is answered.
The call handler asks if the patient is breathing and the caller says: "Yes he's breathing but he's got, like blood gushing out of him arm."
The caller goes on to say there are two people injured ans they are both conscious.
"They've been stabbed with a knife," he tells the call handler. "There's a lot of blood."
Two ambulances are immediately dispatched to the scene, but the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital is at full capacity, the documentary revealed.
Two more people are then reported injured and bleeding - one with a facial wound - and a further two ambulances are sent to the scene, and a critical care crew.
The documentary then showed the crew arriving at the nightclub in Howard Street after the two patients who had been stabbed were taken to hospital.
A doctor asked a member of the public if there was a "big fight".
A third patient, who said he had been "bottled", was in an ambulance.
The patient, who has blood on his face and white top, said: "A guy has bottled me, knocked all my teeth out, and split my cheek here.
"Luckily I wasn't stabbed."
One patient was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital, two were taken to the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford and one was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
There were 1,000 more calls to West Midlands Ambulance Service over the New Year's Eve night than on an average night.
Problems at some of the region's hospitals meant ambulances were having to queue outside - at the same time as an unexpected spike in "high priority trauma calls".
The programme told how there were "severe delays" of over one hour and 30 minutes at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
A number of arrests were made after the incident.
Ambulance was shown on BBC1 on Thursday evening.
