Traffic delays as new Shrewsbury roadworks start
Delays are likely in a number of areas around Shrewsbury as roadworks begin.
Cadent Gas was due to start work in London Road today, which will go on until tomorrow.
Two-way traffic signals will be in place during the work.
Meanwhile, Severn Trent Water is carrying out work in Mount Pleasant Road which is due to finish tomorrow.
Work will also be carried out in Church Road, Condover, until May 24 under a road closure as a new sewer connection is created.
And two-way signals will be in place in Welshpool Road, Shelton, opposite The Oxon until Friday.
