Traffic delays as roadworks begin in Shrewsbury
Traffic delays are expected in and around Shrewsbury as roadworks begin.
Severn Trent Water is undertaking work on the A49 from Battlefield Road to Shrewsbury Road, which is due to finish tomorrow.
There will also be multi-way traffic signals in Spring Gardens while footpaths are resurfaced.
The work is also due to finish tomorrow.
Traffic control will be on the A53 in Shawbury from the Shawbury Park junction to the former Shrewsbury and Atcham boundary until Thursday while slabs are replaced.
Traffic control will also be in Clive Road until tomorrow, Lyth Hill Road in Bayston Hill until Saturday and Swan Hill until Friday.
