Traffic delays as roadworks begin
Traffic delays are likely in a number of areas around Shrewsbury as roadworks begin.
Work is due to begin in Wyle Cop today, as Severn Trent Water carries out work.
There will be "stop/go" boards directing traffic until Friday, when the work is due to finish.
Meanwhile, work is currently taking place on Ellesmere Road while Openreach builds a concrete chamber.
The work is due to finish on Saturday.
There will be two-way traffic signals in Roman Road until Sunday while Western Power Distribution completes work.
Also, for 24 hours there will be two-way signals from Battlefield Road to Shrewsbury Road in Hadnall.
