Roadworks to begin in Shrewsbury
Roadworks are set to begin in three areas around Shrewsbury.
Traffic delays are likely from today for 24 hours as the work begins.
A lane will be closed in Smithfield Road in the town opposite the Premier Inn while a faulty traffic signal detector is replaced.
Meanwhile, work is also set to begin from Sundorne Road to Haughton, Uffington, and the traffic will be controlled with stop/go boards.
There will be two-way traffic control from Redhill Drive to Shrewsbury Road End of Annscroft, Hookagate, while Severn Trent Water completes work.
