Man pulled from river by firefighters
A man was rescued from the waters of the River Severn in Shrewsbury in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Using throw lines, firefighters from Shrewsbury pulled the man from the water at around 5.40am.
The rescue took place close to Frankwell Quay and the man was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
